- After deciding which fan to buy installing is the next step, first unpack and compare the parts with the manual. 

- Next remove the old fan or light but first the power must be turned off. Next step is to install the mount base to the electrical box after removing the old fixtures. NB the fan must never be mounted to an electrical box that is made of plastic. The base must be installed level this can be achieved by using a level rule for accurate measurements.

- Next attach the fan to the fan motor the hanging tubes must remain exposed due to the fact it's a flush mount.

- Next step is to join the fan motor to the base. Hooks will be provided by the supplier, when connecting the wires of the fan motor to the wires in the electrical box you have to cut them this should be done with care, leaving roughly six inches of working length as cutting them too short will only make the installation job more difficult.

- The black wire belonging to the fan motor must be connected to the black wire in the box. The wiring nuts provided by the supplier should be used as they provided a secure connection as well as insulation.

- Next step is to connect the white wires which belong to the fan to the white wire in the box use wiring nut for secure connection. The ground wire should then be connected to the ground in the box this may be green on bare.

- Now its time to install the fan mounts to the base mount, this is done by sliding the holes over the screws which are located in the side of the base. After this is done turn the fan motor this locks both base and fan together.  Four screws are provided two of these are directly across from each other they should be partially installed into the base; this must be done before installing the fan mount onto the base. After the fan mount is installed the remaining two screws should be used. After rotating to lock this will expose the two holes. Ensure the screws are firmly tightened.

- Uses the additional screws provided assemble the blades to the support. The blades generally come with two colors choose the side which is preferred firmly fastening the screws from the opposite side.

- The fan blade must then be firmly fastened to the fan motor with the screws provided. This is a must as you do not want flying hazards when turned on. Remove the rubber blocks and discard.

- Turn on power to make sure everything is working properly.
